PCSC - Rx-360 Free Seminar - January 22 & 23 Minimize

Free Joint PCSC - Rx-360 Educational Seminar

The joint PCSC/Rx-360 Educational Conference has now been rescheduled. The new dates will be Tuesday, January 22 and Wednesday, January 23rd. The location and agenda will remain exactly the same as it was for the meeting that was postponed in late October. All those that originally requested to attend this meeting will be given first priority in filling available seats. As just over 200 individuals originally elected to attend, and the hall will seat 250, there is still room for anyone now interested in coming that couldn’t attend previously. It’s also reasonably assumed that there will be several folks who could make it in October that can’t now in January.

As before, the meeting is graciously being hosted, at no cost, by Bristol Myers Squibb at their facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. There are ample hotel accommodations, literally within a mile of the BMS site, at several national chain hotels. There is no fee to attend this event.

To make this easy on those administering the conference a new, electronic, attendance sign-up needs to be completed on the EventBrite website.

As before, you will receive a confirmation of your attendance request. Further information will follow in subsequent e-mails. The event will also be advertised again, on both the PCSC and Rx-360 websites.

For those that had originally agreed to come in October thank you for your understanding. We are all hopeful the weather will cooperate this time and we can look forward to a very informative and enjoyable event.

As with all previous PCSC sponsored events, there is no charge to attend this joint conference. Continental breakfasts, coffee, beverages and break foods will be supplied. Lunches will be provided by the BMS staff at minimal cost. The only actual expense will involve your travel and potential overnight stay. The site is in very close proximity to Interstate 91 and a reasonable distance from the Bradley International Airport.

If the capacity of this seminar is reached (which we anticipate may occur) those specifically within the pharmaceutical industry, and its supporting organizations, will be given first preference. The seminar is scheduled to be a day and a half, beginning on Tuesday at 9:00 AM and concluding on Wedensday no later than 2:45 PM, to allow for ease of return. A significant focus this year will be on “risk-based” analysis for in-transit and storage of pharmaceutical goods.
