Rx-360 organized a panel discussion and open Q&A Session during CPhI as well. In this open session, Rx-360 member panelists represented Quality, Suppliers, Purchasing, Sourcing, and Security - Guy Villax, Hovione; Lynne Byers, GlaxoSmithKline; Martin VanTrieste, Amgen; Stefan Winghardt, Teva; Bill DuBay, AMPAC Fine Chemicals; Meg Rapplean, Abbott Laboratories; Brian Johnson, Pfizer; and Kim Cauchy, Mylan. Buyers and suppliers of APIs, excipients and packaging materials attending the sessions received information on the benefits of Rx-360 membership and how Rx-360 audits can play a role in a sound supplier qualification program.
Rx-360 representatives wrapped up the CPhI event by attending an annual dinner hosted by EFCG, the European industry association representing European API producers. Towards the end of the EFCG dinner, Rx-360 board member, Guy Villax of Hovione, moderated a lively discussion to highlight Rx-360 and encourage non-members to get involved.
